FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Sizes & Morphology

How do I choose the right size?
Two measurements are sufficient: back length (base of neck → base of tail) and chest girth at the widest point. Each product page has its own size guide. If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger one: clothing that is too tight will bother your dachshund's back.

Are your products suitable for miniature and kaninchen dachshunds?
Most of our models are available in small sizes. Check the minimum back length indicated on the product page; if in doubt, write to us with your dog's measurements.

What about long-haired dachshunds?
Add 1 to 2 cm to the measured chest girth to account for the volume of their fur.

Comfort & Safety

Why a harness instead of a collar?
Dachshunds have fragile necks and long backs. A harness distributes traction across the chest and avoids pressure on the trachea and cervical vertebrae. All our harnesses are vest-style models, without traction.

Can my dachshund wear a coat all day?
For outings, yes. Indoors, remove it: a dog that is too hot won't tell you.

Orders & Delivery

What are the delivery times?
10 to 20 business days. You will receive a tracking number by email upon shipment. See our Delivery & Returns page.

How much does delivery cost?
€4.90, free for orders over €60.

Will I receive all my items at the same time?
Not necessarily: our products ship from several partner workshops, so an order with multiple items may arrive in several packages. You only pay for delivery once.

Can I modify or cancel my order?
Yes, as long as it hasn't been shipped. Write to us as soon as possible via the Contact page with your order number.

How do I return an item?
You have 14 days after receipt to change your mind. The full procedure is on the Delivery & Returns page.

Care

How do I wash the clothes?
Wash at 30 °C, delicate cycle, do not tumble dry. Harnesses should be hand-washed in lukewarm soapy water.
